We collaborate with like-minded educators, community groups, and organisations who want to share their knowledge and experience with young people. Partnerships can include guest talks, co-hosted events, or shared learning projects.
Do you offer talks or events for students or teachers?
Absolutely. We run inspiring talks, assemblies, and interactive events that introduce young people to real-world topics like AI, digital careers, and the future of technology.
Can you design custom lessons or courses for schools or groups?
Yes! We specialise in tailored curriculum design, creating custom lessons and courses that fit your school’s learning goals, age group, and outcomes.
How are your workshops and courses delivered?
We deliver sessions in-person across Surrey and Hampshire or online through secure, interactive platforms. Programmes can be one-off workshops or multi-week courses.

Our sessions cover a wide range of areas, including:

What types of learning experiences does PotentialU provide?
We offer a mix of tutoring, workshops, courses, and talks designed to help young people explore and develop real world, future-focused, life skills.
Tutoring
How do you measure student progress and outcomes?
Tutors provide regular feedback, track milestones, and adapt sessions to ensure students are continuously improving and achieving their goals. Goals are crucial and testing is used to measure progress, not define.
Do you offer one-to-one or group tutoring?
Both. Students can learn individually for focused attention or join small group sessions to collaborate, share ideas, and learn through teamwork.
How are tutoring sessions structured?
Each session is tailored to the learner. We combine practical coding tasks, problem-solving activities, and short challenges to reinforce understanding and build confidence.
Are your sessions suitable for beginners?
Yes. Our sessions are designed for all levels – from complete beginners to those preparing for GCSE, A-level, or further studies in computing and digital fields.
Which subjects or skills can students learn through tutoring?
Our tutoring covers areas such as Python programming, algorithms, AI concepts, cybersecurity, data handling, and creative computing projects.
What kind of tutoring do you offer?
We offer one-to-one and small group tutoring focused on computer science, coding, and digital skills, helping students strengthen understanding and apply their learning practically.
Pricing & Payments
Do you offer discounts for schools or group bookings?
Yes, we provide tailored pricing and package options for schools, clubs, and community groups.
Are materials or software included in the price?
Yes – all standard digital tools and resources are included unless stated otherwise.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will still be charged unless a replacement is arranged.
When are payments due?
Payments are due within 14 days of invoice. A £10 late fee may apply for overdue payments.
How are workshop and course prices determined?
Prices depend on the number of participants, length of session, and materials required. Custom quotes are provided for schools and organisations. We are normally able to offer a Free trial, please enquire.
How much do tutoring sessions cost?
Private tutoring sessions start at £60 per hour. We always offer a Free, no commitment, trial lesson.
Safeguarding & Privacy
Who can I contact about safeguarding or data protection concerns?
You can contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead at alylalji@potentialu.education for any safeguarding or privacy queries.
How do you ensure online sessions are safe?
We use secure platforms, private meeting links, and only allow verified participants. Students are reminded of online safety best practices at the start of each course.
Do you record or store session information?
Online sessions may be recorded with consent for safeguarding and quality assurance purposes. Recordings are stored securely and deleted in line with our policy. For tutoring and online courses/workshops, students and parents are able to access their recordings as it’s a great way to recap and strengthen learning. All content is stored securely and only accessible with permission.
How do you handle personal data and privacy?
We comply with GDPR and all relevant data protection laws. Personal data is securely stored and used only for educational, safeguarding, or communication purposes.
What safeguarding policies do you follow?
We have clear safeguarding, data protection, and acceptable use policies that all staff and tutors adhere to.
How do you ensure student safety during sessions?
We comply with Ofsted, DfE, and Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance to maintain a safe and supportive environment for every learner.
Are your tutors and facilitators DBS-checked?
Yes. Every tutor and facilitator is enhanced DBS-checked and follows our safeguarding and safer recruitment procedures.

We welcome partnerships with businesses, educators, and organisations that want to share insights, host events, or support young people in developing future-ready skills.
How can schools or educators collaborate with you?
We work with schools to co-create workshops, curriculum-aligned lessons, and support careers learning. Our talks, workshops and courses can be tailored to the schools requirements, but ultimately we want to support every school in their mission to deliver impactful, meaningful educational experiences. Wouldn’t it be great if every school taught financial literacy?
Can you deliver sessions outside Surrey and Hampshire?
Yes. Many of our online workshops and courses are accessible from anywhere in the UK and rest of the world.
Where are your sessions and events held?
We are based in Surrey. But offer both in-person and online learning for students across the UK and the rest of the world!
Do you offer an initial consultation or discovery call?
Yes – we provide a free introductory call to understand your learning goals and suggest the right next steps. We can also look at Free trials if applicable.
